I did again some tests yesterday. Shooting outdoors with only a 80mm lens is quite something. Cannot wait to received the lens that I've ordered. I should have it quite soon, in one or two weeks hopefully. The ambiant light was not the best too, lot of grey clouds, sun not sun and that in only few seconds. But I think I've managed it...Here they are.

I'm ready... After playing all week with the new camera, I'm ready to start shooting. It is quite different but easier imo when you get use to it. Here few pix I did yesterday while we were at the summer house. Not extraordinaire images, but the quality and details are awesome, the colors and the bokeh.

Off topic... We have our tickets to go see Bad Religion in September in a little place in Quebec. It is going to be very intime weee, I'm really happy as I like that band a lot.

Finally back from one week in Seattle and one week in Calgary. Not it has not been fun lol, but I was homesick without my things and computer.

The Diamond'lypse in Seattle has been great imo, one of the best! Attendees were working all together, like a real team, it was our goals for that Lypse and I think we did it. It has been quite something though to work all these days and few weeks before of course, but it worthed it, I'm really happy with all the results. The week in Calgary has been awesome too. Meeting again everybody, meeting new ones, we discussed a lot, with emotion and seriousness.. Believe me, 2009 is going to be quite positive for istock members. The Lypse and the Summit had been successful!

And now, next step is Berlin. We were supposed to go, but not sure anymore. Yesterday I was browsing for good price and omg, it is soo expensive... we'll think about it a little before to book everything.

Now let's see some images. Here is few from the Staff shooting we did Thursday to test models and lights. I've other to post but it is going to be later as today we are leaving for the summer house for few days. I cannot process my images on the laptop hehe.

Those ones have been done with one speedlight only. She was there, alone in the dark, talking on her cell... the scenery was awesome. I told her stay there I'm going to grab my camera, and we started shooting for few minutes.

Another one from the Lypse, from the free for all shooting Sunday. These 2 models (I've to admit I've been very envious to see attendees shooting with these models.. omg... they were awesome), were my favorite. I would soo love to have them home and shoot hahaha.. well... I did very few, like about 10 clicks as I was there for work.

and finally, here some pix from testing my new toy. Quite simple but the quality at 100% is amazing. Before to try it with models, I'm going to try with in studio and objects. This new camera is very easy to use, but I've to get use to it. Btw, for those who are interested, my 1DS MarkIII is for sale.
